Manama, June 23 (BNA): Secretary-General of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sport (SCYS), Shaikh Salman bin Ibrahim Al Khalifa has congratulated HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Representative of His Majesty the King for Charity Works and Youth Affairs, Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports, President of Bahrain Olympic Committee, on winning the Ripon Racecourse in London, which is one of the most prestigious horse races in the world thanks to its rich history and the excitement it witnesses owing to the participation of many world champions. The distinguished exploit is the fruitful outcome of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa’s constant care for the equestrian sport, and embodies HH Shaikh Nasser’s efforts to provide perfect conditions for boosting the sport and achieving remarkable results, he said. SCYS secretary-general pointed out that the prestigious title adds to Bahrain’s rich record of successive achievements in the equestrian sport, wishing HH Shaikh Nasser further success in leading Bahrain’s equestrian sport towards more landmark accomplishments.
