Deputy Premier meets medical delegation

Manama, June 26 (BNA): Deputy Prime Minister Shaikh Khalid bin Abdulla Al-Khalifa today received The Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland Chief Executive Officer Professor Cathal Kelly, who arrived in Bahrain to attend the College of Medicine graduation ceremony, which will be held under the patronage of His Royal Highness the Premier. The Deputy Premier stressed the importance of benefiting from the Irish expertise and knowhow to promote training and health and medical education and consolidate the Visiting Doctor programme. He commended the success of the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland (RCSI) - Medical University of Bahrain which attracts nowadays students from up to forty nationalities. The meeting was attended by RCSI Dean Professor Hannah McGee and Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland (RCSI) - Medical University of Bahrain Chairman Professor Sameer Otoom.
