Medical College holds graduation ceremony

Manama, June 27 (BNA): The Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland – Medical University of Bahrain (RCSI-MUB) has today hosted its 9th graduation ceremony.
His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al-Khalifa has today delegated Deputy Premier His Highness Shaikh Ali bin Khalifa Al-Khalifa to attend the event.
A batch of 129 students graduated during the ceremony which was held at the (RCSI-MUB) headquarters, in the presence of ministers, officials and graduates’ parents.
Deputy Premier HH Shaikh Ali bin Khalifa Al-Khalifa conveyed greetings from HRH the Premier as well as congratulations to the graduates and their parents.
He stressed the Government’s keenness on developing Bahraini medical competences and enabling them to keep abreast of advanced methodologies to fulfill their noble mission.
He commended cooperation with reputed international universities and colleges, including the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland, to develop the health sector in Bahrain.
The Deputy Premier highlighted landmark medical strides, citing the increasing number of hospitals, health centres and qualified human resources.
He commended the crucial role of The Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland – Medical University of Bahrain (RCSI-MUB) in buttressing the health sector in Bahrain.
RCSI President Kenneth Mealy addressed the event, extending deepest thanks to HRH the Premier for patronising the 9th graduation ceremony.
