BACA President receives UAE ambassador

Manama, June 28 (BNA): President of Bahrain Authority for Culture and Antiquities (BACA) Shaikha Mai bint Mohammed Al Khalifa received today the UAE Ambassador to Bahrain Shaikh Sultan bin Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan. The meeting was held at the UNESCO Village that is hosting the 42nd meeting of the World Heritage Committee in Manama. Shaikha Mai welcomed the ambassador, expressing appreciation of his keenness to attend various cultural functions which reflects deep-rooted fraternal relations between both countries. She briefed him on the cultural activities held at the UNESCO Village on the sidelines of the meeting which will continue till July 4. The UAE ambassador thanked Shaikha Mai, lauding the GCC and Arab achievement of Bahrain chairing the 42nd meeting of the World Heritage Committee. He also praised the role of BACA in organising such international event.
