HRH Crown Prince congratulates LMRA's CEO

Manama, June 28 (BNA): HRH Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister, sent a cable of congratulations to CEO Osama bin Abdullah Al Absi of the Labour Market Regulatory Authority on honouring him by the US State Department alongside nine other international figures in recognition of their efforts in combating trafficking in persons. HRH the Crown Prince said the honour promotes Bahrain international standing in the field of combating trafficking in persons, pointing out Al Absi’s efforts that contributed to upgrading Bahrain to Tier 1 status as the first country in the Middle East and North Africa to attain this achievement. HRH the Crown Prince commended Al Absi’s effort that translated principles of the royal-led development march into reality, noting his key initiatives that contributed to boosting the national growth and protecting the expat labour’s rights. HRH the Crown Prince also extended appreciation to all government and private parties who participated in bringing this accomplishment. HRH the Crown Prince said all parties are required to build on the achievement to bring more ones, saying the achievement wouldn't have been made without the royal directives and the support of HRH Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa, as well as the loyal Bahraini people. HRH the Crown Prince received a cable of thanks from the LMRA’s CEO in reply to his congratulations. The LMRA’S CEO expressed delight in HRH the Crown Prince’s congratulations, paying tribute to the royal-led comprehensive development process that contributed to bringing this achievement. He also hailed HRH the Crown Prince’s directives that enhanced Bahrain international standing. He underscored commitment to continue working hard to turn HRH the Crown Prince’s visions and aspirations into reality, reiterating allegiance to HM the king and the homeland.
