Royal support for LMRA, NCCTP hailed

Manama, June 29 (BNA): Usamah bin Abdullah Al Absi, the Chief Executive Officer of the Labour Market Regulatory Authority (LMRA) and Chairman of the National Committee to Combat Trafficking in Persons (NCCTP), has expressed pride in His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa’s lauding of the efforts of LMRA and NCCTP whose programmes and initiatives have contributed to the upgrading of Bahrain to Tier 1 status by the US State Department 2018 Trafficking in Persons Report (TIP). Al-Absi stressed that all the projects implemented by LMRA and NCCTP and featured in the US State Department 2018 TIP report entitle Bahrain to be included in Tier 1 status as they were based on a solid base emanating from HM the King’s Reform Project, a platform on which all state departments’ programmes and projects are implemented. He stressed that LMRA and NCCTP enjoy the royal support in carrying out their duties, renewing commitment to continuing efforts to translate the royal directives into the ground.
