Bahrain status as global financial hub highlighted

Manama, July 1 (BNA): Industry, Commerce and Tourism Minister Zayed R. Alzayani received Shaikh Duaij bin Isa Al Khalifa, Chairman of the Council of Bahrain and the Association Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN), and council members. The minister stressed the government keenness to strengthen its relations with various countries, which will contribute in the interest of mutual relations and achieve the objectives in this regard. Al Zayani discussed the efforts applied by the Ministry and joint meetings held inside Bahrain and abroad, which contribute to framing bilateral relations between Bahrain and all countries especially ASEAN. Ways and mechanisms to promote global partnerships and achieve harmony among peoples of the world, were discussed. They also discussed ways to promote global partnerships and promote Bahrain as a commercial and financial hub and encourage investment in various economic sectors.
