Housing ministry receives new beneficiary batch

Manama, July 1 (BNA): Under the directives of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and following the order of His Royal Highness Prince Salman Bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Deputy Supreme Commander, First Deputy Prime Minister, to distribute 5000 housing units, Housing Minister Bassim bin Yacoub Al Hamer started to receive today the beneficiary batch of Khalifa Town housing units. The minister pointed out that the ministry is seeking to accelerate the completion rates in all stages of work in Khalifa Town, which is witnessing great progress according to the schedule prepared for the implementation of various projects. He emphasised the ministry’s work on the implementation of five new housing projects to be carried out simultaneously with Khalifa Town in order to speed delivery of housing units to beneficiaries. The minister stressed that Khalifa Town is one of the main projects of the Ministry’s programme for the implementation of 25 000 housing units, under the royal guidance in implementing 40 000 units. He added that the ministry is fully committed to achieving the goal of completion of housing units according to the directives of HM the King.
