Foreign Minister signs memo on political consultation with Brazil

Manama, July 1 (BNA): Minister of Foreign Affairs Shaikh Khalid bin Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Khalifa signed a memorandum of understanding on political consultation between the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Bahrain and the friendly Federative Republic of Brazil. This came during a meeting with the Undersecretary General for Africa and the Middle East at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Federative Republic of Brazil, Ambassador Fernando José Marroni de Abreu and his accompanying delegation who are on an official visit to the Kingdom of Bahrain. The Minister of Foreign Affairs expressed pride and appreciation for the distinguished friendly relations between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the Federative Republic of Brazil. He affirmed the keenness of the Kingdom of Bahrain to enhance these relations and develop cooperation at all levels for the benefit of both countries and their people.  For his part, Ambassador Fernando José Marroni de Abreu stressed the keenness of the Federative Republic of Brazil to strengthen relations of friendship with the Kingdom of Bahrain, wishing the Kingdom further progress and prosperity.  The meeting also discussed views on the most important issues of mutual interest at both the regional and international levels.
