King to Patronize Distance Education Conference

Riyadh, March 09, SPA -- The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King
Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud will patronize Distance Education
Conference next week, the Minister of Higher Education Dr. Khalid bin
Mohammed Al-Anqari has announced.


In a press statement following his opening, on behalf of the Crown
Prince, the 2nd National Symposium of Information Technology here on
Sunday evening, Dr. Al-Anqari said that the Custodian of the Two Holy
Mosques has shown a great personal interest in information
technology, noting that the King's directives have laid stress on
supporting investments in infrastructures for the establishment of
institutions and colleges that can graduate students who could keep
abreast of advances in this field.
