HRH Princess Sabeeka hails global success

Manama, July 7 (BNA): Her Royal Highness Princess Sabeeka bint Ibrahim Al-Khalifa, Wife of His Majesty the King and President of the Supreme Council for Women (SCW) today sent a cable of congratulations to Bahrain Authority for Culture and Antiquities (BACA) President Shaikha Mai bint Mohammed Al-Khalifa, hailing the success of the 42nd session of the World Heritage Committee, which was held under the patronage of HM the King. HRH Princess Sabeeka bint Ibrahim Al-Khalifa thanked BACA president, hailing her strenuous efforts and keenness on ensuring the success of the global event which further bolstered Bahrain’s standing on the world map and promoted its status as a country with a millennia-old civilization and a beacon of culture, knowledge and heritage. HRH Princess Sabeeka bint Ibrahim Al-Khalifa sent a similar cable of congratulations to the chairperson of the 42nd session of the World Heritage Committee Shaikha Haya bint Rashid Al-Khalifa, hailing the success of the event which was presided over by the Kingdom of Bahrain from the 24th of June to the 4th of July. The 2018 edition was organized by the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO), in cooperation with the Bahrain Authority for Culture and Antiquities.
