Minister receives Royal Emirates officials

Manama, July 8 (BNA): Electricity and Water Affairs Minister Dr. Abdulhussain Mirza received a delegation from the Royal Emirates, a company specialised in a number of engineering fields, including the development of renewable energy applications. The minister was briefed about the activities and programmes of the company and co-operation between the Electricity and Water Authority and the Sustainable Energy Unit in existing and future projects, in particular the marketing of the company's services in all aspects related to energy, electricity and infrastructure strategies. The minister gave the visitors a presentation on government plans and projects in the field and welcomed the prospects of cooperation with specialised companies. The visitors thanked the minister and officials for the welcome and the hospitality and for encouraging cooperation in areas of mutual interest.
