Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques chairs Cabinet's Session 2

On the domestic level, the Minister of Culture and Information
pointed out that the Cabinet valued the scientific, cultural, and
economic activities the Kingdom has witnessed over the week: the
prize of The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques for Translation, the
Convening of the First Scientific International Council of King
Abdulla Institute for Nano Technology, and the signing of the
contract for implementing the Urban Works of the Project of the Two
Holy Mosques Express Train.



The Cabinet also valued the achievements of the Ministry of Interior
in uncovering the drug trafficking network, lauding the vigilance of
the drug combating security units which have monitored and thwarted
the smuggling attempts that target the homeland through impairing its
young generations.



The Minister of Culture and Information said the council then
discussed the domestic agenda and issued the following decisions.



The Cabinet approved the memorandum of understanding between the
Saudi and Spanish ministries of defense in the field of cooperation
signed in Madrid on 5/6/1008 according to the text attached to the
decision. A royal decree was prepared for this purpose.



The Cabinet authorized the Minister of Labor, the Chairman of the
Board of Directors of the General Organization for Technological and
Vocational Training, or his deputy, to hold discussions with
Kazakhstan on the project of an executive cooperation program in the
field of technological and vocational training between the General
Organization for Technological and Vocational Training in the Kingdom
of Saudi Arabia and the Center for the Development of Technological
and Vocational Education and Qualification Granting in Kazakhstan and
to sign it in view of the text attached to the decision.
