Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques chairs Cabinet's Session 4

The Cabinet discussed the request to circulate the Saudi Building
Code (SBC) to relevant public and private sector bodies to start
applying it as a trial period of two years. The Cabinet approved the
request.



The above-mentioned Saudi Building Code (SBC) aims at securing safety
and public heath through the strength, stability and firmness of
buildings and installations; accessibility; the provision of healthy
environment, proper lighting and sufficient ventilation; rationing of
water and energy and the protection of people and properties against
building-related hazards.



The Cabinet approved the following appointments at the 14th and 15th
grades:



1- Appointment of Mohammed bin Nasser bin Othamn Al-Abdullah as
Security Advisor at Grade 15 at the Ministry of Interior,



2- Appointment of Saud bin Ali bin Abdullah Al-Abdulaziz as
Undersecretary of the General Presidency of Youth Welfare for Sports
Affairs at Grade 15 at the General Presidency of Youth Welfare,



3-Appointment of Mohamed bin Ali bin Saleh Al-Sehebani as Security
Advisor at Grade 14 at the Ministry of Interior.
