Lotte Engineering wins infrastructure order in Libya
SEOUL, March 11 (Yonhap) -- South Korea's Lotte Engineering & Construction Co.
said Wednesday that it has clinched a 112 billion won (US$75.6 million) deal to
build infrastructure in northern Libya.
Under the deal with the Libyan government, Lotte Engineering will construct
roads, water supply and sewerage systems and electricity and communication
facilities in an area 100km west of the capital Tripoli, the company said.
The construction will take 48 months to complete, Lotte Engineering said, but did
not disclose when the construction will begin.
