Futsal League’s finals on Sunday

Manama, Aug. 4 (BNA): Under the patronage of HH Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, First Deputy Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports, President of the Bahrain Athletics Association and Honourary President of the Bahrain Sports Federation for Disabilities, the final games of the Ladies League, the Expatriates League and the Clubs League will take place on Sunday.
The leagues are held as part of the 6th Khalid bin Hamad Futsal League which is organised by the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports in partnership with the Media Office of HH Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, from June 24 to August 9.
Held as part of HH Shaikh Khalid's initiatives in support of youth in sports and humanitarian fields, the league witnessed an active attendance of a number of sports personnel from various sports and youth organisations.
This year, the league is held with the wide participation of youth centres, national clubs, young women, disabled individuals, ministries and communities.
In the Ladies League, Al Esrar team will face Al Quwah team at 5:00 pm in the final match, while Sar Club will play A'ali Club in the Clubs League's final. The final game of the expatriates League will be played on Sunday too.
Al Khuzaei: Thank You Khalid bin Hamad
Capital Trustees Board chairman Mohammed Ali Al Khuzaei considered that Khalid bin Hamad Futsal League is a great success, stating that adding more competitions to it has proven to be a great step. Furthermore, Mr Al Khuzaei praised the objectives for which the league is being held, stating that this initiative helps in strengthening the bonds among people of villages and cities in Bahrain.

Media personnel and Head of Saudi National Futsal League Abdulrahman Al Ahmadi hailed the the Khalid bin Hamad Futsal League, stressing that Bahrain's futsal sport would reap the benefits of holding this competition.
Muharraq Youth Centre reach final
Muharraq Youth Centre reached the final game of the 6th Khalid bin Hamad Futsal League (the Youth Centres Competition) after defeating Dumistan Youth Centre in the penalty shoot-out. The game landed in this stage after its minutes ended at a 1-1 draw. Muharraq Youth Centre's goalkeeper Yousif Janahi made multiple stunning saves to help his team win this game and he also won the best player of the game.
Meanwhile. Special Olympics team advanced to the final game of the Disabled Leauge after beating Bahraini Deaf Committee 10-0. Inspiring them to this victory was Mohammed Hassan who recorded a hat-trick, thanks to which also he was named the best player of the game. Moreover, Motor disability team secured a hard-fought 8-5 win against Deaf Committee to set up a meeting in the final with Special Olympics team. Mohammed Salem scored a hat-trick for the winners and he won the best player of the game too.
