Application for scholarships to start on Monday

Manama, Aug.5 (BNA): Isa bin Salman Charity Educational Endowment Board of Trustees Chairman His Highness Shaikh Isa bin Salman Al-Khalifa stressed keenness on meeting the goals which were set by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al-Khalifa and optimize the benefit from the initiative so as to enable Bahraini students to pursue their academic studies and promote investment in human resources, being the real national asset. HH Shaikh Isa bin Salman Al-Khalifa hailed the growing number of Bahraini students who meet the eligibility terms and conditions set for the scholarship allocation. He made the statement on the sidelines of the announcement of the beginning of application for the sixth batch of scholarships as from tomorrow Monday (August 6). Students desiring to benefit from the scholarships were urged to submit their applications at the Education Ministry’s hall in Isa Town during the period running from tomorrow, Monday, until the 19th of August - from 9 am until 2:00 pm. Scholarships will be granted to eligible recipients who will study for their BA degrees at the public and private universities in Bahrain. Isa bin Salman Charity Educational Endowment Secretary-General Dr. Mona Al-Balooshi urged High School graduates who obtained 80% and above to apply. Application to the scholarships is open to Bahraini nationals who graduated from the high school during the past two school years and who meet the terms of the academic admission and scholarships.
