Day set for prize distribution

Manama, Aug.5 (BNA): A ceremony will be held on the 1st of October to distribute prizes to the winners of His Highness Shaikh Khalifa bin Ali bin Khalifa Al-Khalifa for Charity Work 2018. The organizing committee of the award announced the forthcoming ceremony marking the International Day for Elderly. Nominations for the award from Bahrain, the GCC countries and Arab states will be accepted during the period running from the 10th of August and the 10th of September. The charity award will acknowledge Best Charity Elderly Project; Best Social Charity Initiative; Best Charity Artwork; Best Photographic Work, Best Literary Work and Best Practices and Participations in Charity Works Benefiting disaster-hit countries.
