RERA reminds about deadline for license issuance

Manama, Aug. 6 (BNA): "The deadline of August 31 is fast approaching for all Real Estate Developers, Brokers, Sales Agents and Off-Plan Sale Developments to register and apply for a license," the Real Estate Regulatory Authority (RERA) said. Law 27/2017 regarding regulation of the real estate sector granted a transition period of six months from March 1 until August 31 for real estate practitioner categories to adjust and comply with the new regulatory framework. Starting from September 1, trading without a license will be deemed illegal and will result in sanctions and legal penalties as per the said law.
