HM King congratulated on HH Shaikh Khalid’s victory

Manama, Aug. 14 (BNA): HH Shaikh Ahmed bin Mohammed bin Salman Al Khalifa has extended sincerest congratulations to His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, and the Representative of HM the King for Charity Works and Youth Affairs, Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports (SCYS) and Bahrain Olympic Committee President, HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, on the victory achieved by HH Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, SCYS First Deputy Chairman, Bahrain Athletics Association (BAA) President and Al-Khaldia Stables Captain, who ranked first in the endurance race, which was held in Sweden. HH Shaikh Ahmed bin Mohammed asserted that the honourable achievement adds to the successes of the Bahraini sports thanks to the wise vision of HM the King, who put forward the necessary strategies to enhance the youth and sports sector. The royal strategies are consistent with the action plan of the government, chaired by His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa, and the vision of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Premier, he said. He lauded the major role played by HH Shaikh Nasser, the Captain of the Royal Endurance Team, whose directives have led the team to podiums and innumerable achievements. HH Shaikh Ahmed bin Mohammed wished the Royal Endurance Team, captained by HH Shaikh Nasser, and all jockeys of the kingdom every success in the upcoming competitions.
