RUW’s ISO 9001:2015 second surveillance audit successful

Manama, Aug. 15 (BNA): Royal University for Women (RUW) successfully completed the ISO 9001:2015 second surveillance audit with a remarkable outcome of no non-conformances raised for the fourth consecutive year. The audit was conducted by AJA Europe where a team of four auditors visited the university premises. The surveillance audit was performed under the scope of ISO 9001:2015 standard for the first time since the transition from the previous standard (9001:2008),whichsuccessfully took placein June 2017. The visit was coordinated by the Quality Assurance and Accreditation Unit. Two audit teams were formed and each team visited various departments in the university. The visit started with the opening meeting which was attended by the Acting President, Dr. Mona Suri, the Management Representative, Ms. Mona A. Jawad, in addition to all administrative Directors and Managers. At the closing meeting, the auditors provided very positive feedback and announced the outstanding result of no non-conformances raised. In the past four years, RUW was able to receiveoutstanding results from the auditors with no non-conformances raised.The official report is expected to be received within the next two weeks.
