Governor visits police directorate

Manama, Aug. 20 (BNA): Southen Governor, HH Shaikh Khalifa bin Ali bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, today paid a visit to the Southern Governorate Police Directorate, where he met officers, non-commissioned officers and individuals. The governor extended deepest congratulations to His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa, and His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Premier, on Eid Al-Adha, wishing them many happy returns. He also commended the role played by Interior Minister, Lieutenant-General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdulla Al Khalifa, in consolidating efforts to safeguard security, maintain public order and ensure safety for the the citizens and residents, praising the minister’s constant support for the Southern Governorate. HH Shaikh Khalifa bin Ali was informed about the directorate’s security preparations for Eid Al-Adha. He also paid inspection visits to the Eid Al-Adha praying areas across the governorate, and was assured about their readiness to receive worshippers. The governor lauded the security personnel for their distinguished performance and tremendous efforts to maintain security and stability.
