Special humanitarian cases to be exempted from Qatar visa ban

Manama, Aug. 24 (BNA): In relation to its statement issued on August 21 on suspending the issuance of entry visas for Qatari national because of the irresponsible and hostile acts of Qatari authorities against the Kingdom of Bahrain, the Ministry of Interior today released a statement clarifying that the entry visas would be exceptionally allowed to members of joint families for humanitarian reasons, with specific regulations, including the monitoring of the movement of money, especially in such circumstances. The Ministry highlighted that the number of individuals who would be exempted would be limited as part of the framework to protect Bahraini society. The special cases and application mechanisms would be determined later, the statement added.
