BRCS volunteers visit hospital, elderly home

Manama, Aug. 26 (BNA): A host of Bahrain Red Crescent Society (BRCS) volunteers have organised an on-going visitation programme to visit children at Salmaniya Medical Centre (SMC) as part of BRCS activities to congratulate them on Eid Al-Adha. BRCS delegation spent time with patients and offered them gifts and appreciated the enormous efforts made by doctors, nurses, and staff of SMC to provide the best care and services.  The society also organised a similar visit to the National Bank of Bahrain (NBB) Elderly Home. The visits were organised by Health Awareness Committee in cooperation with other committees. The head of Health Awareness committee, Muyssar Sabri Awadhallah, extended the gratitude of the BRCS to the supporting bodies for such activities and stressed the society's constant efforts to address all segments of Bahraini society. She called on everyone in the community to join the Red Crescent volunteers and participate in their various humanitarian activities.
