Protecting Bahrain, boosting people's welfare top priority

Manama, Aug. 26 (BNA): His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa received at Gudaibiya Palace today senior officials, economic personalities, journalists, media persons and citizens. He congratulated them on Eid Al Adha, praying to Allah Almighty to protect Bahrain under the leadership of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and wishing Bahrain and its people a happy return of the occasion.
HRH the Premier praised the efforts of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in providing all needed facilities for the pilgrims which, he said, won appreciation and respect of the whole world. He stressed that the facilities provided for more than 2 million pilgrims were a milestone in success of the Hajj season this year. He also lauded Saudi Arabia’s keenness to look after the holy sites and dedicate all capabilities to facilitate performance of Hajj and Umrah rituals. He also commended the kingdom's dedicated efforts throughout history to serve Islam and Muslims under the leadership of Al Saud royal family who have always been keen supporters of Arab and Islamic issues.
HRH the Prime Minister paid tribute to the Bahraini people for their awareness and civilisation, stressing Bahrain’s development at all levels. “We have to be thankful to Allah Almighty for all the blessings, including mainly security and stability,” he said. He stressed that protecting the nation, maintaining its security and stability and providing a decent life for the Bahraini people is top priority. He pointed out the government’s ongoing efforts to back all services sectors and bring about more achievements, noting that communication has always been a characteristic feature of the Bahraini people. He urged to preserve the one-family spirit among the Bahraini community and boost it for the posterity.
HRH the Premier called to take advantage of Bahrain’s rich civilisational heritage to ensure a more prosperous future. He commended wisdom of the GCC leaders and their ability to handle regional challenges and conspiracies, calling to remain vigilant and draw lessons from regional developments. He also lauded the substantial role of the national press in enlightening the community regarding public issues.
