RI OFFERS S KOREA CONTINUED PARTNERSHIP TO DEVELOP INFO TECHNOLOGY
Jakarta, March 12 (ANTARA) - Indonesia on Thursday offered South Korea continued partnership in the development of information and communications technology.
"We hope South Korea will be ready to continue its cooperation and partnership with Indonesia to conduct more research work on information technology," Head of the Human Resources Research and Development Board at the Communications and Information Ministry Aizirman Djusan said.
He said both nations had since 2007 cooperated in conducting a research on "Indonesian BWA Licencing Policy" and "ICT HRD and R & D Policy Framework for Indonesia".
In 2008, the board and the Korea Information Society Development Institute (KISDI) and SKTelecom (SKT) agreed to conduct a joint study in the field of information and communication technology, he said.
The project involved researchers from different institutes of higher learning in Indonesia, he said.
