Bahrain-Egypt summit hailed

Manama, Aug.30 (BNA): Council of Representatives Speaker Ahmed bin Ibrahim Al-Mulla hailed results of the session of official talks between His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al-Khalifa and Egyptian President Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi. He hailed steadily-growing bilateral relations over the past years, describing outstanding joint ties as a model to emulate for pan-Arab relations.
He paid tribute to President Al-Sisi, hailing his fraternal stances and support to bolstering bilateral relations with the Kingdom of Bahrain ever since he assume presidency. He described relations binding Bahrain and Egypt as model of Arab fraternity, deep-rooted and steadily-growing historic partnership, on the basis of mutual respect, led by HM King Hamad bin Isa Al-Khalifa and President Al-Sisi.
He hailed the results of the Bahraini-Egyptian summit for efforts to strengthen Arab solidarity in this critical phase and mounting challenges facing the Arab nation. He stressed the importance of the joint summit which was held in April 2016 in 2016, yielding a string of economic, financial, trade and investment agreements and memoranda of understanding. The Speaker hailed joint legislative relations, commending the efforts being exerted by the Egyptian Parliament to combat terrorism and dry up terror funding.He expressed the hope that the meeting of the joint Bahraini-Egyptian Commission, which will be held in Bahrain in October, would yield good results for the sake of the two brotherly countries and peoples.
