PERTAMINA OF SUMBAGSEL PROVIDES RP 600 MILLION ASSISTANCE TO DUCK BREEDERS
Pangkalpinang, Mar 12 (ANTARA) - State oil and gas company PT Pertamina overseeing the southern parts of Sumatra (Sumbagsel) provides Rp 600 million in soft loans to eight groups of peking duck breeders in Pangkalpinang, Bangka Belitung (Babel).
"The assistance is aimed at improving the economy of the local population," the Pertamina office in Pangkalpinang said on Thursday.
Pertamina is not only assiting the duck breeders, but livestock breeders in the city as well.
Pertamina also disclosed that the assistance is given in the first quarter of each year, and in the second quarter assistance is also given to the farmers and livestock breeders.
