Information Minister receives GRTC Director General

Manama, Sept. 5 (BNA): Information Minister Ali bin Mohammed Al Romaihi received today Director General of the Gulf Radio and Television Corporation (GRTC) Mujary Mubarak Al Qahtani. He discussed with him ways of boosting cooperation with GRTC in the fields of radio and TV training, research and studies, joint production of programmes as well as exchanging experiences and information. The Information Minister stressed keenness of Bahrain, under the leadership of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, on bolstering the GCC joint media work and activating the role of the media in fostering the GCC identity and patriotism as well as boosting development and civilisational achievements. On his part, the GRTC Director General thanked the Information Minister for his keenness on promoting the joint media work, lauding Bahrain’s remarkable media development and civilisational accomplishments brought about under the reform project of His Majesty the King.
