Arab-British Chamber of Commerce holds reception in honor of Saudi Finance Minister

London, Mar. 13, SPA -- The Arab-British Chamber of Commerce has held
a reception ceremony in London in honor of Minister of Finance of the
Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Dr. Ibrahim bin Abdulaziz Al-Assaf, currently
on a visit to Britain.

In a key speech during the reception, which took place last night,
the Secretary-General and Chief Executive Officer of Arab-British
Chamber of Commerce Dr. Afnan Al-Showaibi welcomed Dr. Al-Assaf and
his accompanying delegation.

We hereby point to the encouraging news coming from Saudi Arabia's
economy which continues to be strong despite the global economic
downturn" Dr. Al-Showaibi said.

She stressed that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia continues to make
progress in diversifying its economic resources by maintaining a high
expenditure on infrastructure.

"while the Kingdom is moving forward in its economic plans, British
investors are still in a good position to make the best use of these
developments" Dr. Al-Showaibi explained.

The event was attended by a number of high-ranking Saudi, Arab and
British officials.
