Pattaya-Hua Hin ferry service suspended during monsoon season

BANGKOK, Sept 20 (TNA) – Cross-gulf ferry service between Pattaya in Chon Buri and Hua Hin in Prachuap Khiri Khan has been suspended during the monsoon season and will resume the service on Nov 1. The marine department office in Prachuap Khiri Khan announced the temporary suspension of the ferry service, operated by the Royal Passenger Liner Co from Sept 20 to Oct 31. In Chon Buri, tourists at Laem Bali Hai pier in Pattaya were informed about the suspension for the safety reasons. The cross-gulf ferry service was launched early last year. It operates daily and shortens the travel period to two hours from about 5-6 hours by a road trip. (TNA)
