Pet dog bites girl’s ear off

NAKHON RATCHASIMA, Sept 24 (TNA) - A four-year-old girl, mauled by her neighbour’s dog in Nakhon Ratchasima, has suffered severe wounds to her head and her ear was bitten off. The girl remains in hospital and is still terrified when anyone speaks about a dog. Investigators on Monday called in the dog’s owner for questioning. After medical diagnosis, the police plan to file charges against the dog’s owner for neglecting his pet which do harm to a person and being reckless, which causes danger to others. The owner said his dog is not a fierce dog and has never bitten anyone before. He will pay for proper compensation to the girl’s family. The girl’s aunt also met the police to give statements and affirmed to take the case seriously as the girl lost her ear, which could make her feel inferior to other children. (TNA)
