Portuguese President receives Bahraini ambassador' credentials

Lisbon, Oct. 4 (BNA): The President of the Republic of Portugal Marcelo Rebelo De Sousa today received the credentials of Khalid bin Salman Al-Musallam as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kingdom of Bahrain to Lisbon, based in Rabat. Al Musallam conveyed the greetings of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa, and His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister, to the President of the Republic of Portugal, as well as their wishes of further progress and prosperity to the Portuguese government and people. The Portuguese President expressed pride in and appreciation of the existing friendly relations between the two countries and their constant progress, wishing Al Musallam every success in his duties.
