Documentary dedicated to 90th anniversary of Aitmatov filmed in Uzbekistan

Tashkent, Oct. 12, 2018. ./Kabar/. A documentary dedicated to the 90th anniversary of writer of world literature Chyngyz Aitmatov is being filmed in Uzbekistan. The film entitled “Lyubimyi syn dvuh narodov" (Russian: Любимый сын двух народов, lit: Beloved Son of Two Nations) is shot by the order to the Uzbekkino National Agency by the Documentary Film Studio, Director of the Chyngyz Aitmatov and Uzbekistan permanent exhibition at the National University of Uzbekistan Ahmadjon Meliboev told. He said that the film consists of two parts. The film tells about the life and work of the writer. The director of the new film is Bakhodir Odilov, scriptwriter Ahmadjon Meliboev, cameraman Samidjon Sunnatillaev. The creation of a documentary film is provided for by the Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan of April 2 on the Wide Celebration of the 90th Anniversary of the Birth of Great Writer and Public Figure Chyngyz Aitmatov.
