S. Korea: Contribution to Development of North-South Ties and Peace Urged

Pyongyang, October 13 (KCNA) -- The floor leaders of the Minju Party, the Party for Democracy and Peace and the Jongui (justice) Party of south Korea reportedly held a joint news conference on Oct. 8 to make public a resolution of lawmakers calling for the "National Assembly's" ratification of the Panmunjom declaration. The resolution said that the Panmunjom declaration and the Pyongyang joint declaration reflected the desire of the nation as they inherited the spirit of the agreements reached between the south and the north after the publication of the July 4 Joint Statement. -0-
