PERTAMINA GUARANTEES LPG SUPPLIES SECURED DURING GENERAL ELECTIONS

Jakarta, Mar 17 (ANTARA) - State oil and gas company PT Pertamina assured that there would be enough liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) supply, especially supplied in 3 kg and 12 kg containers during the upcoming general elections.

Pertamina's marketing and commercial director Achmad Faisal said in Jakarta Monday LPG supply has now reached 200,000 metric tons, which is quite enough for public consumption in the next 20 days.
Pertamina's domestic gas general manager Wahyudin Akbar said the current stock at the LPG filling stations, agents, as well as with the retailers, is the maximum.
And the LPG vendors in Jakarta and Bandung have even problems in marketing the commodity.
Wahyudin added that under these circumstances, Pertamina guaranteed there will be no LPG supply shortfalls.
