Patriotism, national unity bulwark against plots

Manama, Oct. 23 (BNA): His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa received at Gudaibiya Palace today members of the royal family and senior officials. He said "Our countries are still targeted for many are annoyed with their stability, growth and prosperity." He pointed out attempts to put obstacles and blow issues out of proportions to distract development efforts. He affirmed that patriotism and concern for the supreme national interests are always the bulwark against all plots. He also stressed that conspiracies will always be doomed to failure thanks to people's awareness and national unity. HRH the Premier lauded the Bahraini competencies and their outstanding performance at the local, regional and international level. "We have the right to feel proud of this people as an asset of the nation and the secret of its progress," he said, pointing out the government's keenness to reach out to citizens and improve the services provided for them. He asserted that all the government's programmes to develop the infrastructure and services facilities aim to achieve citizens' aspirations and boost their welfare. HRH the Prime Minister pointed out his personal follow-up on the implementation of development projects all over Bahrain to ensure speed and quality in carrying them out. "Citizens have always been and will remain the core of development," he stressed, emphasising the government's open-door policy to serve them.
