Young Kyrgyz sportsman becomes silver medalist in table tennis in Almaty

Bishkek, Nov. 3, 2018. /Kabar/. The traditional Golden Autumn tournament took place in Almaty in the hall of the Table Tennis Federation from October 31 to November 2 with the participation of more than 120 sportsmen from Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan and ten cities and oblasts of Kazakhstan, the federation of the sport reported. Kyrgyzstan was represented by the only girl from the Table Tennis Association of the Kyrgyz Republic - Ramida Abdimitalipov, born in 2008. In her subgroup, Ramida took second place and entered the main draw of the competition. The first match in the final draw the Bishkek resident defeated Yurana Ibraeva from Karaganda with a score of 3:1, then in 1/8 – Assel Erkibayeva from Tashkent with a score of 3:2. In 1/4 she beat Alevtina Tutynina from Karaganda – 3:1, in 1/2 of the final she played against Rakhila Rakhimtaeva from South Kazakhstan oblast – 3:1. In the finals, the young Bishkek resident lost to the more experienced Karaganda sportsman Darya Fu – 0:3. In the age category 2006-2007 the gold medal was won by the representative of Tashkent Sogdiana Ibadulaeva, in the category of 2004-2004 Zhanerke Koshkumbaeva from Karaganda became the best. All participants were awarded medals, diplomas and valuable gifts. It was the first international tournament for Ramida, and the second place is a very good result. She was also awarded a special prize for the best technique. Tomorrow, on November 3, 13 boys from Kyrgyzstan are entering the fight in three age categories: 2004-2005, 2006-2007, 2008 and younger.
