Iran expresses support for ceasefire in Yemen

Tehran, Nov 5, IRNA – Iran's Foreign Ministry spokesman on Monday expressed support for ceasefire in Yemen and resolution of the conflict through dialogue Speaking in his weekly press briefing, Bahram Qasemi pointed to the deteriorating situation in Yemen and noted that Iran supports any measure to stop aggression on Yemen, prepare the ground for ceasefire and dialogue among the country's political parties. Commenting on Pakistan mediation between Iran and Saudi Arabia, he said that Iran's stance on relations with the neighbors is quite transparent. Iran is not after any trouble with any country in the region, Qasemi added.
