UNESCO Chief hails King`s pioneering role for global peace and justice

Riyadh, March 18, SPA -- Prince Faisal bin Abdullah bin Mohammad Al
Saud, Minister of Education, received here yesterday the visiting
Director General of UNESCO, Koichiro Matsuura.


During the meeting, they discussed the existing cooperation between
the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the UNESCO.


Koichiro Matsuura hailed the Kingdom's pioneering role in spreading
the culture of peace and justice among the world's countries,
stressing the great role of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King
Abdullah bin Abdulaziz in bolstering dialogue among the cultures and
the peoples of the world.
