Schoolchildren from Kyrgyzstan take part in School of Young Energy Worker at Black Sea

Bishkek, Nov. 13, 2018. /Kabar/. Schoolchildren from Kyrgyzstan took part in the School of Young Energy Worker at the Black Sea, the press service of the Ministry of Education of the Kyrgyz Republic reported.
As reported, the School of Young Energy Worker was organized in the Smena recreation complex at the Black Sea for the winners of an essay competition on energy efficiency and energy saving, which was held in Russia, Armenia, Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan with the support of the Ministry of Energy of the Russian Federation and the UNDP-RTF project .
In Kyrgyzstan, the essay contest was organized with the support of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Kyrgyz Republic in 11 pilot schools of the UNDP-RTF project entitled “Standards and Regulatory Framework to Promote Energy Efficiency in Countries of the Eurasian Economic Union”.
From Kyrgyzstan, five winners took part in the School. Within two weeks, the children attended laboratory and practical classes, interactive lectures, games, trainings and master classes, and also met with experts in the field of energy. In addition, the children took an active part in the cultural program and proved themselves by winning KVN, the competition of intellectuals and talents.
“The lectures were insanely informative and interesting, practical exercises and various quizzes with cool prizes were held. In this camp I made a lot of new friends from different countries, went on a horse ride and excursions around the city of Anapa. The knowledge and experience gained in energy saving and energy will help me in the future in choosing a profession,” Amina Nadirova said, winner of the competition, student of the Ecological and Economic Lyceum No. 65 Amina, who prepared and implemented a project to improve school lighting.
