SK Engineering wins US$912 mln order from UAE

SEOUL, March 20 (Yonhap) -- South Korea's SK Engineering & Construction Co. said
Friday it has received a US$912 million order to build three natural gas
compression plants in Abu Dhabi, the capital of the United Arab Emirates (UAE).
The deal was signed with Abu Dhabi Co. for Onshore Oil Operations, a unit of Abu
Dhabi National Oil Company, SK Engineering & Construction said. The construction
of the plant will take 37 months to complete.
Early this month, the South Korean builder signed a $373 million preliminary deal
to build four skyscrapers in Abu Dhabi, in a partnership with another South
Korean builder, Namkwang Engineering & Construction Co.
