Before thousands of cadres and sympathizers of the party, Jusuf Kalla said a strong political party was needed to build a better nation, and Golkar had a lot of experiences with best cadres to do so.

"Thank you very much for your support to Golkar Party and Governor Alex Nurdin who had proved his promises," Kalla said, asking the people to exercise their right to vote in the election because it would determine the future fate of Indonesian nation.
He said the future of the nation would be determined by the victory of Golkar party in the upcoming elections.
Ealier in the day, Jusuf Kalla also spoke before around 80,000 people, consisting of Golkar's cadres and sympathizers in an election campaign at Karebosi Square in Makassar, South Sulawesi.
