HOUSING MINISTRY TO HAVE DIALOGS IN THREE CITIES
Jakarta, March 22 (ANTARA) - The office of the State Ministry of People's Housing Affairs will hold housing dialogs in Makassar, Surabya and Batam.
"The dialogs will be held on the occasion of the national congress on housing and residential complexes to be held in Jakarta," spokesman for the State Ministry of People's Housing Agus Sumargiarto said here Sunday.
Agus said that actually the congress could be a follow up to a similar event held in Bandung on August 25, 1950, opened by Mohammad Hatta, the vice president at that time.
Agus said that associated with the upcoming congress, the 2009 II Housing National Congress Committee would be formed by virtue of Decree of the Minister of Pople's Housing Affairs No 21 of 2009.
The members of the committee will have several teams, including an advisory team under Minister of People's Housing M. Yusuf Asy'ari, and Deputy Minister of Public Works Djoko Kirmanto, and a number of ministers as members including Finance Minister Sri Mulyani Indrawati, Home Affairs Minister Mardiyanto, State Minister of National Development Planning Paskah Suzetta, Minister of Manpower and Transmigration Erman Suparno, Head of the National Defense Regulatory Agency Joyo Winoto, Social Affairs Minister Bachtiar Chamsyah, and Health Minister Siti Fadillah Supari.***2***
