King addresses tomorrow Shoura (Consultative) Council Session

Riyadh, March 23, SPA -- The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King
Abdullah bin Abdulaziz will open here tomorrow the works of the first
year of the fifth session of the Shoura (consultative) Council.


He will deliver a speech pertaining to the country’s internal and
external policy in line with article 14 of the Shoura's system.


Dr Abdullah Al Al-sheikh, the Chairman of the Shoura Council, in a
statement to Saudi Press Agency expressed appreciation for the great
attention being given by the King to the Shoura Council.


Dr Al Alsheikh underlined the important role being played by the
Shoura Council in the service of the country notably as regards
supervision of the performance of the governmental administrations.
