Prince Naif holds press meeting 2 Beirut

Asked whether the Arab Interior Ministers Council was briefed on the
efforts going on to confront the deviant thought, he said that the
council has issued a statement to the press including all what has
happened in this field with emphasis on the review of previous
decisions and the amendments inserted on them.

He went on to say that the Arab Interior Ministers march is
proceeding smoothly in an objective and practical way, yielding
better successes. He added that the main goal is to make the public
believe that they are the front line of security for the sake of the
nation and nationals.

On the security strategy, he expressed belief that the Strategic
Studies College of Prince Naif Arab University for Security Sciences
was successful in tackling the Arab security strategy, thanks to the
skillful staff of the facility.

He went on to say that Saudi Arabia is keen on the future of Arab
youth and strenuously focuses on ways to dissuade them from being
lured by the deviant thought.

Prince Naif pointed to the role the Arab media should play in
illustrating the reality and truth to the public, expressing welcome
of any constructive criticism.
