Al-Alimi launches1st stage of governorates tourist guide project

SANA'A, March 23 (Saba)- Deputy primer, Minister of Local Administrations Rashad
al-Alimi launched on Monday the 1st stage of electronic tourist guide for the Yemeni
governorates.

The guide includes tourist information about Sana'a, Aden, Hodeidah, Taiz,
Hadhramout, Ibb, Mahweet, Mareb, Shabwa and Lahj.

In the launching ceremony, al-Alimi praised the guide that would show the tourist
activity in the world of tourism industry.

In remarks to Saba, executive director of Tourism Promotion Council Ahmed al- Bayel
briefed that the guide would contribute perfectly in the tourist promotion process
for Yemen.

He made reference the guide comes in the framework of implementing the national
tourism strategy for 2008 that also includes update and develop the website of
Tourism Promotion Council.

It is worth mentioning, the guide preparing took six months and came out with 100
television movie.
