SAGIA`s Governor Stresses Strength of Saudi Economy
Washington, March 24, SPA -- The Governor of Saudi Arabian General
Investment Authority (SAGIA), Amr bin Abdullah Al-Dabbagh, currently
on a visit to the United States of America, has stressed the strength
of Saudi Arabia's economy, which has made it one of the least
affected countries by the current global economic crisis.
In a speech delivered at a luncheon hosted in his honor by U.S.
Chamber of Commerce in Washington on Monday, Al-Dabbagh commended the
efforts exerted by the government of Saudi Arabia in the
establishment of industrial cities at the highest advanced
technological levels, pointing out that that these cities have laid
the foundation for investment opportunities which have not been
available anywhere in the world, in terms of technical aspects,
equipment and infrastructure.
He highlighted investment opportunities in Saudi Arabia in
various sectors including energy, transport, industry, information,
facilities and services provided to investors.
