Speaker congratulates India on Republic Day

Manama, Jan.26 (BNA): Council of Representatives Speaker Fawziya bint Abdulla Zainal sent two cables of congratulations to Indian Parliament Speaker Sumitra Mahajan and Inter-State Council President Venkaiah Naidu marking their country’s Republic Day. The Speaker wished the Republic of Indian further progress and prosperity, hailing string bilateral relations in all fields, particularly parliuamentary ties. She stressed the keenness of the Council of Representations to further bolster joint ties for the sake of the two friendly countries and peoples.
