Chairman Kim Jong Il's Birth Anniversary to Be Marked in Sri Lanka

Pyongyang, January 29 (KCNA) -- A Sri Lankan preparatory committee for celebrating the 77th birth anniversary of Chairman Kim Jong Il was formed in Colombo. Pradif Viseratna Sekara, chairman of the Sri Lanka-People's Korea Friendship Association, was elected chairman of the preparatory committee. The preparatory committee set a celebration period from January 21 to February 17 and decided to hold various political and cultural events in praise of the revolutionary career and exploits of Kim Jong Il. -0-
